CET Equine Spas: The Business Proposition.
Setting up a CET Equine Spa Hydrotherapy Centre.
An Equine Spa can make a valuable contribution to an existing equine enterprise both for your own horses and as an additional revenue stream. Racing yards, livery stables, riding schools, quarterhorse trainers and equine clinics are a few equine establishments which have found the equine therapeutic spa to be a valuable resource.
Alternatively, others have built their own specialist equine therapy rehabilitation centre using an equine spa as the main therapeutic modality.
Tendon and ligament injuries, joint and hoof problems, wounds and cuts are some of the conditions which resolve faster using an Equine Spa thus enabling the horse to get back into training much quicker than normal.
As a therapeutic medium the Equine Spa should not be confused with equine aqua treadmills which are aimed more at an alternative form of exercise and are less valuable in the acute stage of an injury. The much higher temperature of the water can also cause problems particularly with bacteria and algae growth which may lead to complications if the horse has open wounds or cuts.
The CET Equine spa however is not used for exercise but is designed specifically for the treatment and prevention of leg injuries in horses such as tendon problems, ligament damage, sore shins, splints, joint conditions, wind galls, jarring up, lacerations, laminitis and post operative recovery.
More and more Equine enterprises are using the Equine Spa as a preventative modality as well as a therapeutic medium.
The CET Equine Spa is constructed from high quality stainless steel which combines a pleasing appearance with strength and durability. The pumps, filters and chiller, are specially selected to suit the target market e.g. spas built for the European market will be fitted with top quality European pumps and spas built for the USA market will be fitted with top quality American components etc.
As all Spas are built to order we can accommodate your special requirements even down to your preferred colour. Tell us what you want!
In terms of income generating potential Equine Spa Therapy Centres are typically charging US $50 to 60, EUR 40 to 50 or UK £25 to 30 per session. When you consider that two horses can be treated per hour the revenue generating potential is considerable.
Additionally, equine spa rehabilitation centres can charge a daily or weekly rate for livery on top of the therapy charges. Please note, the level of charges will be dependent on local conditions and the value of horses.
A good guideline would be the typical cost for an equine physiotherapy session. This lets you know what horse owners are prepared to pay for therapy in your region.
Not only the quality of the Equine Spa is excellent but also the level of support we have received."
